history
Founded in 2006
Company foundation
The start of GORMET SRL in Cluj-Napoca was in 2006 with a small team of supervisors, steel constructors and quality managers with a clear focus on welding technology for large mining components.
2007 - 2011
Strong growth leads to the expansion of welding and steel construction activities with our own cutting and preprocessing department. First steps and investments in the field of mechanical processing and coating of large components.
2012 - 2015
Step by step, we grow into a European market leader in mechanical engineering. This is followed by the expansion of the capabilities for large parts machining at the company's own site in Cluj-Napoca, thus broadening the range of services.
2015 - until today
Commissioning of further modern plants, improvement of quality assurance according to ISO standards and new GORMET SRL corporate design/identity.
